Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- Pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour
Optional for extra flavor:
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts walnuts or pecans
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat Oven and Prepare Pan:
- Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease a 4x8-inch loaf pan.
Mash Bananas:
- In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
Mix Wet Ingredients:
- Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas.
- Add the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract to the banana mixture and stir until well blended.
Combine Dry Ingredients:
- Mix in the baking soda and salt. Gently fold in the flour, being careful not to overmix.
