- 500 g beef such as chuck or brisket, cut into cubes
- 300 g pumpkin peeled and cut into chunks
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups beef broth or water
- Salt to taste

Brown the Beef:
In a large pot or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
